Art In the Garden

Garden Walk has chosen a theme, Art In The Garden. This year we are celebrating the peak summer garden and art that complements/enhances the plantings. Gardeners can collaborate with an artist or use their own artistic talents to create an art and plant installation.  

Art can make a garden one of a kind and allows the gardener to express their personality. Garden arts and crafts add layers to a garden and can be formal, whimsical, and meditative. The art can be a focal point which draws a visitor in, or a vignette tucked into a corner or border. You can use the objects (collections) you already have and items that are not being used. You may also look for objects at thrift stores and garage sales that can be repurposed. Express yourself. Be brave, bold, and don’t forget to have fun.
